The Jewish Hospital presents Knee Replacement: Faster Recovery, Less Pain, Better Results a free informational seminar open to the public.
The seminar is part of the hospitals Dessert with the Doctor series and takes place on Tuesday, May 11, 6:00 7:00 p.m. at The Jewish Hospital in Kenwood, 4777 E. Galbraith Road, in conference rooms A/B. Registration is required for attendance, please call 686-4040 to reserve a spot.
Attendees will learn about options such as MAKOplasty, robotic-assisted partial knee replacement, and computer-assisted joint replacement which may provide benefits like faster healing and less pain.
The seminar is led by Michael Swank, M.D., a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with Reconstructive Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. He is the medical director of Jewish Hospitals Joint Replacement Center, and the winner of the 2008 Health Care Hero Award for Innovation in Cincinnati. He is internationally recognized for his research and expertise in total joint replacement.
